Ten solar collector panels were installed on the roof of the Cafe in January 2012, to provide hot water for the Cafe via a specially designed and installed 500 gallon hot water tank (which wieghs 1500 pounds), which was built here in Raleigh by Holocene. Yes! Solar Solutions of the Triangle, designed and installed this custom solar and energy efficient system, which will save significant amounts of non-renewable gas and electricity, previously needed to heat water for the Cafe's needs.
