New ‘Hash’ dishes on Brunch Menu
August 30, 2017
Three new – and already very popular – ‘Potato Hash’ meals are now on the Cafe’s Brunch Menu:
. Smoked Beef Brisket on potato hash, served topped with two poached eggs and sweet & sour red cabbage
. Smoked Salmon – house cured thick slices of smoked salmon – on potato hash, served topped with two poached eggs, wilted spinach topped with Hollandaise sauce
. Spicy vegetable saute with jalapeno peppers on potato hash, served topped with two poached eggs or scrambled tofu for a vegan option.
These really good Brunch dishes join so many other Irregardless favorites – Frittatas, Omelets, Pancakes (all kinds!), French Toast, Waffles (and gluten free option) and Chef Arthur’s grandmother Lena’s Cheese Blintzes. In addition, there are a selection of Entree dishes, Vegetarian Vegan & Gluten Free meals and Salads. Irregardless’ Brunches include orange juice, coffee (or another beverage) and the Cafe’s delicious Brunch Breads (blueberry muffins, poppy seed and pumpkin coffee cake and cheddar biscuits) with the Brunch meal ordered. Each weekend the Chef offers two or three extra specials too.
Now with State of North Carolina’s new laws, Irregardless’ bar features alcoholic beverages from 10 am onward – both Saturday and Sunday. Each weekend a special cocktail is featured. During Labor Day weekend, we will be featuring our Peach Spritzer (pictured left). Bloody Marys – with Irregardless freshly made mix – and Mimosas are enjoyed often, as well as any wine, beer or mixed drink our patrons wish to order.
Irregardless Cafe was the first restaurant in the Triangle to begin serving Sunday (now weekend) Brunch way back in 1975. Known for it’s many ‘firsts’, Irregardless was also the first restaurant in the State of North Carolina to go non-smoking in the early 1980’s, more than 25 years before mandated by the State. Also, the first restaurant to host solar panels, to have it’s own community garden for growing produce and much more.
