“Well Fed, Well Said”:
Introducing a Dinner Theater Series About Food and Health

Saturday, July 14th at 7 – 9:30 pm

Our food choices affect our health. The old saying,”We are what we eat” is true. Every cell in our body was created from the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. This ‘Dinner Theater Series’ will explore food and health – discussing the health benefits of the evening’s menu.

This first evening is on the health benefits of a Vegan diet, featuring:
* Three original 10-minute plays performed by Seed Art Share and written by Ian Finley
* Health Notes by Joe & Terry Graedon, People’s Pharmacy
* Four Course vegan meal by Irregardless Cafe & complementary cocktail

July’s ‘Well Fed, Well Said’ on Bastille Day celebrates an impressive VEGAN menu of French culinary favorites with ingredients from Irregardless Cafe’s Well Fed Community Garden!

TICKET PRICE:
$50 + tax + Eventbrite fee

TICKET INCLUDES:
Includes a 4-course meal (appetizers, salad, entree buffet and plated dessert to table), a unique complementary cocktail (cash bar available), theater and speakers. Gluten-free menu items available. Please select ticket that matches your dietary restrictions. For additional restrictions, you may email kimberly@irregardless.com.

Diners will have the opportunity to purchase autographed books and healthy products from the Peoples’ Pharmacy and herbal teas and produce from the Well Fed Community Garden.

Vegan diets (no animal products: only plant-based foods) are known to help folks lose weight, maintain a healthy heart, protect against type 2 diabetes and certain cancers.  These diets also have more fiber and antioxidants to diets and are said to reduce the pain of arthritis.  In addition, vegan meals are much more affordable to make… and by not consuming meat the planet is much healthier (Cattle create a significant portion of the green house gases and require lots of corn – which pollute ground water with nitrogen.)

“Well Fed, Well Said” Dinner Theater Series will be offered approximately twice a year – with the next evening to be held in the autumn of 2018.

Printed/Smartphone ticket is required for admission. Event located at The Glenwood, 3300 Woman’s Club Drive, Raleigh NC 27612. Refunds are granted electronically up to 7 days prior to event date. Refunds requested less than 7 days prior to event date are subject to restaurant gift card of equal value.
