About the Workshop
The program will start with an indoor presentation to discuss the need for native plants for birds and how to create a backyard habitat to promote healthy native bird populations. We will also discuss feeding backyard birds and information on birding trips in the area.

About our Host
An avid birder, Ms. Lena Gallitano is a volunteer and former member of the Audubon North Carolina board of trustees. She has won the Volunteer of the Year award from Audubon North Carolina, the Governor’s Conservation Achievement Award for Wildlife Volunteer of the Year, and was a 2013 Atlantic Flyway William Dutcher Award winner.
