Early bird tickets are $44.99 for this six course vegan dinner that can only be purchased at Triangle Food Adventures. Tickets are limited for this one night seating, so make sure you grab yours before they’re gone! Beverages and Wine pairings are available for purchase at the dinner.
The folks at Irregardless Café have been serving up fresh food to the Triangle since 1975. As lovers of fresh-from-the-farm ingredient, Irregardless offers a variety of amazing vegan options. Starting as the area’s first vegetarian restaurant, the café now offers non-vegetarian options, but they believe in promoting healthy living and giving back to the community. Irregardless even has their own urban garden in which they grow some of the produce used on their menu.
First Course: VEGAN SEX
Stacked “salad” layering sliced avocado, oranges, quinoa (tossed with fresh
tomatoes, cucumbers, and parsley) and mashed sweet potatoes. Served on an
orange vinaigrette and garnished with red bell pepper.
Second Course: ADOBO ROASTED TOFU TACOS
Tofu marinated in adobo (a blend of ancho chile, tomato and spices) and
roasted. Served in a corn tortilla with avocado and a radish, cucumber and mint
pico de gallo.
Third Course: ROY-STER “SCALLOPS”
King oyster mushroom “scallops” pan seared and served with hoisin sauce and
a lemon “butter” sauce. Garnished with fried arugula.
Fourth Course: BELUGA LENTIL SOUP
Fifth Course: POPUSA
Masa flour dough folded and filled with spicy refried beans. Topped with
tostones made from pounded green plantains and served on a bed of fresh
one day sauerkraut.
Sixth Course: CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE
Made with coconut cream, cashews and cocoa. Served with fresh berries.
